The dream of the perfect season (all wins or all losses) is now dead for every team in the league, this week saw 2 more tie games to bring our total to 7 or exactly one quarter of all games so far this season ending locked in a tie... how's that for parity?

Maybe Fleury's no Leury?

In a classic goalie battle, OFBHL rookie masked man Marty Leury and veteran Andrew Godin each only let in 2 goals on 79 combined shots as the Leury's No Fleury squad tied the game with the extra attacker with only 15 ticks showing on the clock.

Spare Jeff Murphy had 1g-1a for the Balls & Dolls while captain Sean Malloy did the same for LNF.

Great Walls of Mercy

After Vicious & Delicious scored the first 2 goals of the game, it was all Great Wall of Portelance as they scored 9 straight goals to go on to an easy 9-2 mercy victory.

For the winners, cannon-shooter Spencer McDonald got 3g-2a, power couple Missy Newhook and Steve Andrews each had 1g-3a, playmaking BFFs Mark Nash (2g-1a) and Jason Muscant (3a) each had 3 pts, and star netminder Stephane Portelance turned aside 33 of 35 shots. Vicious couple Josianne Garneau and JF Labelle each had 2 assists in the loss.

Net Finders Litt on Fire

Star forward Litt St-Jean gets 2g-1a, co-captain Frank Blondeau gets 1g-1a, and veteran tender Herb Beagan denies 26 of 28 shots in Herb & Spice's 4-2 win over the Net Finders.

Dan Ballem and freshman Rich Tattrie scored in a losing effort.

4 goals Goalden for Knights as Latham is nearly perfect

Magic man Jeff Squires gets 1g-2a and star netminder Russell Latham turns aside 24 of 25 shots as their Goalden Knights score a solid 4-1 triumph over Outwit, Outplay, Outlast.

Ever-improving Amanda Murray tallied a beauty for the Witty bunch.

League's top team shows up Justin Time to salvage a tie

Unbeaten Justin Time looked like their time was up as such as they were down 3-1 with less than 5 minutes to play, but they sniped 2 goals in 4 seconds to salvage a 3-3 tie against 4Nicated By Fournelle.

Offensive rearguard Mark Yeates and sharpshooter Dale Carlson each had 1g-1a while their star goalie Justin Labrecque made 48 saves for the Time machine.... on the other side, fireballer Jason Kellar sniped 2 goals both assisted by co-captain Mike Stefanic.

12:20 - OREO Speedwagon 6 The Originals 3

Bekkers should face charges for running over Originals with the Speedwagon

OREO Speedwagon rolled to a 4-0 lead by the intermission, The Originals never gave up though and won the 2nd half 3-2, but it was too little too late as the OREOs came away with an impressive 6-3 victory.

Young star Speedster Eric Bekkers amassed 2g-2a, his mentor Craig Richer got 1g-3a, sniper Shaun 'Shaggy' Sullivan got 2g, and their masked man Jason Fong denied 36 of 39 shots... while captain Brock Murray got 2a and playmaker Sean Frewen picked up 1g 2a assists in a losing effort.

1:10 - Never Surrender 5 Victorious Secret 4

NS put out Everything in their Heart to pull out a W with big 2nd half

Victorious Secret held a 3-2 lead at half-time, but Never Surrender lived up to their lofty name as they controlled most of the 2nd half, outscoring their opponents 3-1 including a late game-winner by sniper Colin Smith who had 2g-1a in the half.

Rookie couple Mylène Fréchette and Rene de Montigny each had 1g-1a while captain Sean Frewen picked up 2 helpers for the winners....while captain Michel Blondeau scored twice and rookie Jessica Fiore was credited with her 1st OFBHL goal in the narrow loss.
