The Monkeys would open the scoring early tha nks to spares Andrew Stephens and Phil Downer along with Kaptain Kortnie Legari , in fact halfway through the opening period they would lead 4-1. However RL would live up to their name and start lighting the lamp themselves... both Shawn Lemoine and Jonathan Malloy managed to find twine before the period was out to send to the break with a score of 4-3 SM.

The scoring would not slow down at all in the 2nd frame, fast forward to the final 3 minutes with RL now leading 7-5 and looking to pull out the win. SM would scoring with 2 minutes left and then with less than a minute to play Roxy Nesbitt would pull this one even... but we weren't anywhere near done yet! With 33 seconds on the clock Kiyomi Takahara regained the lead for the Lights and they were poised to walk way with 2 points... but hold on a second (literally), with the goalie pulled Alim Dhanani would pull off the miracle by popping in a rebound with 1 second remaining on the clock to end this wild rescheduled game in an 8-8 tie.
