Five Alive opened the season with a strong showing and a 9 goal outburst but this was just not their day, HRA scoring star Dave Allston rebounded from a relatively lacklustre by his standards week 1 in style, he would bookend his team's scoring with their first and last goal... and also add a natural hat trick in the middle of the game for good measure for a dominating showing. Linemates Ty St-Jean and Kelly Brant would also contribute while returning sniper Stephane Chenier notched the other HRA goal. The lone bright spot for FA would come from goalie turned player (and superstar softballer) Marty Leury with his first goal of the season.
