Much like the first game the shots in this game were extremely close, in fact DD led on the shot counter at the final buzzer of this game 42-34 but were never close on the scoreboard after the opening minutes.. The Heron Road Avengers would open the scoring just 11 seconds into the game on a goal from the Dino Cicarelli of the O4 Dave Allston assisted by returning playmaker Stephane Chenier and that would be a sign of things to come as the 2 new linemates would look like they've played together their whole lives leading HRA to a big 7-1 victory.

Despite putting up 7 goals worth of offence, much of the credit for the blowout win needs to go to veteran masked man Herb Beagan who was outstanding in goal for his squad, Herb would face 42 shots many of which were quality chances only allowing one goal which came in the opening minutes to Laurie Reinhart .
