Game Recap:

Mr & Mrs Smith came into Week 3 still searching for their first victory as they took on Hocus Pocus in what looked like a good one on paper. The first period would be closely fought with each team scoring twice even though HP would hold a large edge on the shot counter 25-13. Spare goalie Steve Toste would continue his hot play for M&M into the second period and his temp team would reward him with 4 straight goals in the first 5 minutes with most of the damage being done by under-rated power couple Rene de Montigny and Mylene Frechette . Now trailing 6-2 HP would push hard but couldn't beat Toste, with a half period remaining rookie Kristen Couture would pop in a perfect back door feed from Brock Murray to bring HP within 3, unfortunately Toste would overstretch trying to stop the shot and had to exit the game due to injury, hopefully we see you back soon Steve! In stepped another spare goalie Brent Ferguson who came in completely cold but you wouldn't know it, Brent was only beaten once by Murray the rest of the way as M&M hold on for a 6-4 victory.
