Game Recap:

Our 3rd game of the day had a couple of one win teams looking to find that winning feeling again and move up in the standings as Injured Reserve faced off against Mr & Mrs Smith. Unlike the previous 2 games most of the offence in this game would come early, MMS Jeff Murphy would snipe twice for his team but that would be answered by a trio of IR goalscorers including Ashley Clow and Mike Zaborski to make it 3-2 for the Injured ones at the half.

Down by a goal, MMS would turn up the heat considerably and pound shot after shot at the IR net, in fact they would end up with 30 shots in the second frame alone, but unfortunately for them, zero goals. In fact the only goal of the period would come about halfway in off the stick of sophomore Robin Pitman to make it 4-2, that's how the game would end with IR evening their record at 2-2-0 while MMS fall to 1-2-1.
