Game Recap:

Game 6 had probably the league's hottest team, the Heron Road Avengers coming off back to back dominant 7-1 showings , taking on Hocus Pocus who were hoping to even their record at 2-2-0 with a win. As he is known to do HRA captain Dave Allston

would open the scoring in the game and add his second late in the first frame to make it a 2-2 tie at the half.

After getting a first period goal from rookie Hannah Macdonnell

, HP would benefit early in the second period from the other half of their rookie duo as Sam Parsonson

managed to bulge the twine twice in under 3 minutes to make it 4-2. Captain Allston would get one back but he was the only Avenger on this day to beat MC "Spiderman" Chartrand as the masked man (with a Spidey mask) would stonewall HRA the rest of the way stopping 35 of 38 shots in a 5-3 victory.
