Early in the 2nd frame SM veteran sniper Michel Blondeau would get himself going and just 3 minutes into the period this game was tied at 3-3. Halfway through the period IR's Zach Verge managed to snipe his 6th goal of the season to regain a lead, but Mitch Blondeau would find twine for the 2nd time soon after to knot the score once more. Despite some good chances at both ends that's how this game would end, Conrad earns his first point as a goalie in the O4 in style stopping 52 of 56 shots overall and adding a goalie assist for good measure while SM goalie Mark Legarie continues his strong start to the year with 29 saves of his own.
