Game Recap:

Another game and another great battle on paper between Truculent Defenders and Call Me Daddy who both entered with identical 2-2-0 records, both teams were missing some big time players so several spares were called upon to contribute and they did just that as Sean Frewen and Dan Blondeau both had big games for their temporary teams.... however it was the regular stars who did most of the damage, Truculent Frank Zic would lead the way as usual for his team and his snipe with 9:21 remaining put TD up 5-2. CMD would make a game of it late thanks to a pair of goals from rookie sensation Justin Proulx-Philion but desipte some great pressure at the end it wasn't quite enough as TD take home the 2 points by a 5-4 final score. Of note TD rookie Phil Duarte finally found the scoresheet for non-penalty reasons with his first O4 marker while teammate Lori Viau was great on D and pitched in a pair of apples.
