Game Recap:

Game 2 was between 2 teams solidly in the "mushy middle" of the league standings trying to keep pace with the upper echelon squads as Phil's Philthy Philanthropists hosted the Sarcastic Monkeys. The game would start on a good note for the Philthy ones with venerable vet Don Prior scoring his 2nd of the season right off the bat, however Monkeys Alim Dhanani and Daniel Blondeau would both beat spare Philanthropist Justin Labrecque before halftime to give SM a 2-1lead at the buzzer.

The second period would see more of the same as SM dominated the shot clock and crowd favourite Michel Blondeau and captain Kortnie Legari would have their offensive mojo on full display notching 4 points each in the period After surrendering the early goal SM keeper Mark Legari was outstanding the rest of the way shutting out PPP for 36 minutes while turning aside 28 of 29 shots in a 6-1 final.
