After HP tok an early 2-0 lead it was ageless wonder Mike Zaborski who would take over the game, Mike would pop one before the first half ended then score 2 early in the 2nd frame for the natural hat trick and a 3-2 lead for IR. With the score still the same we would hit the final 10 minutes and things would get crazy, first substitute sniper Austin Perron would score to even the game, then Jessica Fiore would snipe a pair in a minute to put IR up 2 but we weren't done. After a Dale Cahoon goal, Rookie sensation Sam Parsonson would knot the game at 5's with 2:43 remaining. Seconds later the lead would go back to IR thanks to Zach Verge with his 7th of the season, but the final minutes are known as "Austin Time" and after nothing but frustration in his regular game the spare would get going for his temporary team. Perron would snipe a long bomb with 1:09 left to tie it up. Then with HP granted a late PP opportunity it took a grand total of just 4 seconds of PP time to score the winner, Parsonson would win the draw to Perron who was wide open at the point, he moved to the slot and made no mistake for a come from behind 7-6 Hocus Pocus victory.
