Game Recap:

The O4 only other one loss team the Sarcastic Monkeys were next on the docket hosting the .500 Five Alive who were hoping to keep pace with the top 8 with a win. With such a similar setup to the first game of the day ironically this game followed nearly the same storyline... the first half would be relatively slow and low scoring with the underdog coming out in the lead, this time it was Five Alive led by goalie turned sniper Martin Leury and the booming blasts of Bernie Car holding a 2-1 lead at the buzzer.

Like the first game, this one would see the favoured team pull away in the 2nd period thanks to the play of their star sniper, this time it was veteran star Michel Blondeau who turned the tide with a 2 point shift 5 minutes into the period, the Monkeys would go ahead 3-2 after Michel's scoring spurt and never look back adding 3 more goals in the final 10 minutes to clinch a 6-2 win. Captain Kortnie Legari and her husband / netminder Mark Legari 34 saves on 36 shots also played large parts in the Monkey's 3rd W on the season.
