Game Recap:

Next up was a great, on paper, matchup featuring two teams in the lower half of the standings attempting to boost themselves up ladder with Call Me Daddy facing off against Injured Reserve. With both teams featuring some big shooters a tight game was expected and the results on the floor did not disappoint. Under-rated IR star Zach Verge opened the scoring just 15 seconds in but before the period was finished that goal would be matched and exceeded thanks to goals from each of the CMD co-captains Richard Tattrie and Renee Emby .

The 2nd period would open with another Tattrie goal, then with less than 10 minutes to play Rich's running mate Justin Proulx-Philion would find some space and find the twine for a 4-2 CMD lead. Verge would pop his 2nd of the game on the next shift to make it a one goal game, but that's as close as IR would get, CMD masked man Patrick Gaudreau would shut the door the rest of the way finishing with 42 saves on 45 shots against to earn the win.
