Game Recap:

It's been a tough go for The Next Generation over the past few weeks, their offence has dried up and the defence has given up chance after chance which is a very bad combination. Their path didn't get much easier this week as they faced the potent Heron Road Avengers who boast a high octane attack and the league's leading scorer in Dave Allston. The first half would be very tightly contested as the teams would trade chances and goals, HRA's Ty St-Jean would light the lamp early off an Allston feed, but TNG sub Zach Verge would have a big half of his own as HRA led 4-3 at the break.

The 2nd half would see TNG pour on the shots in an attempt to get back into the game however HRA veteran tender Herb Beagan had other plans, TNG would direct 32 2nd period shots on goal but only beat the star goalie once while the HRA offence would start slow but explode for 6 goals in the period as this game ends in another disheartening 10-4 loss for TNG. Stephane Chenier and Vanessa Miron both had big second periods as HRA take down their 3rd win of the season.
