Game Recap:

Once again, the goalies were the story early on as both teams were turned aside on great chances and it looked like we might have another very low scoring game. Finally almost 14 minutes in AH would light the lamp off the stick of Dale Carlson, IR would respond on the next shift off a marker from veteran sniper Zachary Verge but AH would strike again late to take a scant 2-1 lead into halftime.

Verge would continue his hot scoring ways into the 2nd period, first tying the game 9 minutes in then giving IR their first lead of the day with 6:40 remaining to play. With the score now 4-2 Mona Le Blanc would set up an exciting finish with her second of the game, but that was as close as AH would get to tying things up. Mike Zaborski would seal the deal late, with what he claims is his first career O4 ENG, as IR pull off the upset victory by a final score of 5-3.
